International Disk
Photographic print. View of an International 11 ft 6" disk on wheels with heavy 20" disks. The equipment was purchased from Seneca Service Center on December 28, 1965. The cost of the disk was $1026.60 at the time of purchase. It was purchased new. The plow was used on the Chapman Farm in Ovid, Seneca County, New York. The disk was placed in an open space in front of a lone tree. Beyond the disc is a small building. To the left and behind the disc is another small building, possibly a chicken coop. A third building is in partial view on the left. Fenced in pastures are in the background. A road runs across the photo on the right and a car is being driven down the road. In the distance are other farms and buildings. For other photographs of equipment purchases by the owners of this farm see F0008.2013(01)-(11) and F0011.2016(01).
