Glass plate negative. Two men are in a sugar bush gathering sap in buckets from maple trees. The snow has melted and they are among barren trees. The first man is on the center left of the photograph and holds a pail in each hand. The second man is on the right in the center near the lower portion of the photograph and holds a pail in his left hand. They face towards one another. A large rock formation is in the distance in the center of the photograph.
