Glass Plate Negative. A group of about five men work moving hay from a large pile into a thresher to separate the grain. They work next to a large wooden barn. A ladder leans agains the large pile of hay. One man stands on top of the pile, moving the hay to the machine. There is a large belt that runs between two parts of the machine. The belt is almost as long as the hay pile.
