Photographic negative. Per image envelope: Farms - near Waterville. Waterville village is in Oneida County, New York, and is known as the "Hop Capital of the World." The image shows a farm and farmhouse below cloudy skies. Image shows a gothic-roofed barn in the background that is similar to a Prairie or western barn, and a more contemporary barn with a round roof in front of that. A concrete stave silo stands between two entryways to the contemporary barn. Possibly another peaked, hipped roof wooden silo (?) appears on the property, next to an older outbuilding. A white farmhouse is between the barns and outbuilding and the road. "Tranquille" is written on the side of the negative.
