Photographic Print. Image is an interior detail of the Butternut Valley Grange No 1533 located in Gilbertsville, New York. The image shows a bird's eye view of the Main Hall. In the center of the room is a covered station with five chairs. At each corner of this station is a stave with a finial or symbol of the Grange. These symbols include the sickle, shepard's hook, spud (?) and owl. These are also symbols of the Officers. An area rug with the Grange Patrons of Husbandry crest is in the middle of the floor. More stations are in the background and along the sides. On the reverse of the photograph is handwritten: MAIN HALL/BUTTERNUT VALLEY GRANGE # 1533/2001/ANDY BAUGNET.
